Born of a drive to help skin sufferers find solace

Following their independent battles of years enduring the debilitating iatrogenic condition Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW), co-founders Louise and Jing first crossed paths while undergoing a regenerative skin treatment in Singapore that changed their lives forever.

After experiencing first-hand the transformational effects of the Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP treatment, they shared a vision to make it more accessible to sufferers worldwide; and so Skin Solace was born.

Since opening the first regenerative TSW clinic in 2021 in Andover, UK, skin sufferers have travelled in from all over the world to experience the transformative therapy.

Having outgrown their first premises in 2022, the team now operate out of a clinic nestled into the picturesque town of Winchester, UK.

What is Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP?

Unlike conventional Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) treatments, Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP Treatment has been specially calibrated to support skin affected by Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). Developed and refined through more than 20 years of clinical use on TSW skin, it offers a unique, tried-and-tested approach to supporting the skin's natural recovery.

Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP Treatment is designed to work effectively as a standalone therapy. There is no need for numbing creams, masks, or supplementary treatments before or after your session.

Our goal is to support the skin's own natural regenerative processes, helping it heal as naturally as possible. Rather than masking symptoms, we focus on restoring healthy skin function, with the aim of helping our clients achieve true skin freedom without long-term dependence on medications or topical creams.

Our specialist team is trained in the protocols and techniques developed by Jay and Dr. Chanchai, founders of the Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP treatment, through more than 20 years of observing TSW skin and listening to patients.

  • We work with you to figure out causes of flares and other complications e.g. hardened skin, fungal infections

  • You receive reports on your progress at key milestones/checkpoints in your journey, along with care tips and directions for healing

  • Knowledge is power, especially when dealing with a misunderstood condition like TSW. Patient get free access to educational tools and fortnightly lectures (beginning March 2026) to equip themselves with the knowledge on how to manage this chronic condition and enjoy a better quality of life.
